In honor of the Democratic debate tonight, I thought I would write a quick post celebrating Mitch McConnell, who, apparently, doesn’t like being called “Moscow Mitch.” Mitch McConnell is 77 years old and was first elected to the Senate in 1984. He is currently serving his 6th six year term and has announced he will run for reelection in 2020. If he is reelected in 2020 (hopefully not), he will be in office until he is at least 84 years old. He has already served 26 years in the Senate and is trying to make it at least 32.
I hope my home state of Kentucky (or Commonwealth if you prefer) has the good sense to Ditch Moscow Mitch.
